Career Highlights
Following the usual path into F1, Ralf Schumacher started
out in karting, and then progressed into British F3. He made a quiet
FI debut in Australia 1997 with Jordan. Internal politics at Jordan
caused Schumacher to move to Williams
in 1999 where he made a successful start with of a number of podium
finishes.
However it was in 2001 he really made his mark with a win at the
Imola Grand Prix followed by another 2 wins at Montreal and Hockenheim.
Thereafter, despite intense competition Ralf Schumacher has obtained
further successes with a win at Sepang in 2002, and a further 2
wins in 2003.
Ralf Schumacher has again in 2004 been unable to deliver to his
full potential, which has led to speculation that he may make a
move to another team in 2005.
