Career Highlights

Trulli has a strong karting record that includes World Go-Kart Champion class 100SA in 1993, World Go-Kart Champion class 125FC in 1994 and Italian Go-Kart Champion in 1995.

Later he moved into German F3 and in 1996 put on an outstanding season performance to become the German F3 Champion.

Trulli made a sudden debut into F1 at Melbourne 1997 with Minardi but remained with team for only half a season. He then moved to the Prost team and in 1999 enjoyed a podium position, finishing second in Nurgburgring.

Trulli then spent 2000-2001 at Jordan, where he came in 10th and 9th in the Driver's Championship respectively. In 2002 Trulli moved to the Renault F1 Team and after a tough first season, enjoyed his best Driver's Championship position of 8th place with 33 points.

Trulli has been moving from strength to strength with Renault gaining his first win in Monaco this season, and looks to continue in the same form.
